Gabriel Bakker is the founder of Sage AX. With over fifteen years of professional software engineering experience, Gabriel taught himself to program computers at the age of 10. More then half of his life has been spent programming computers, and a third of his life has been spent working with small businesses. As the captain of his high school programming team, Gabriel was already working in the business world, on software for automotive companies in the Detroit area.
His career has been marked with rapid advancement, and his experience has been recognized by a number of companies. Working for EEE, the creators of the OneTouch line of Convenience Store software solutions, Gabriel was promoted to senior programmer after working for only two months. With experience working with end users, debugging software, creating software, and in Systems Design, Gabriel brings a unique set of talents and skills to the table here at Sage.
In his free time, Gabriel contributes frequently to the Business Rules forum, a web forum community of programmers using the language Business Rules. Gabriel helps answer questions ranging from syntax to multi-user file access issues, to solving printing and graphics problems.
