The FileIO library is a powerful BR library designed to aid the BR programmer in Read and Write access in a revolutionary way that brings much of the convinience of SQL to the BR Programmer. If FileIO is used properly, your File Layouts become the source for your BR Form Statements, and your read/write access. This enables you to change any of your file layouts without having to change any of your programs. Additionally it gives the BR Programmer access to a DataCrawler that will allow you to browse the contents of any of your data files (for software debugging purposes).

Many add on utilities are being written for FileIO that will take these capabilities much farther. If you are on board with FileIO, you will soon be able to design complete fully functional New GUI FM programs graphically, programs that will run locally in a new gui version of BR, or over the internet right in internet explorer as interactive web pages.
